About Us
Made in St. John is a retail shop located in the heart of Mongoose Junction shopping center in Cruz Bay, St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We are open year-round (closed December 25). During high season (approx. November-May), we're open from 10am-9pm daily. Our off-season hours are 10am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-6pm on Sunday.
We design and screen print our own men's, women's and kids' tees and sweatshirts using non-toxic water-based ink. The remark we hear most often from customers is how soft our products are. Our main supplier is Alternative Apparel, a company recognized for its incredibly comfortable premium fabrics. Many of our shirts and hoodies come from their sustainable, eco-friendly Alternative Earth line.
The Made in St. John store opened in February 2010 and our website went live in August. Our sister stores, Big Planet and Shade, are also found in Mongoose Junction.
While we truly enjoy designing and making tees, we are also in business to serve the community. In July 2010, we launched our Island Ambassador Program, which supports individuals and groups on St. John who make a difference.
