Ambassador Program

Made in St. John's mission is to make a difference.

The Made in St. John Island Ambassador Program began in July 2010 as a way to give back to the local community on St. John by spotlighting and supporting local groups and individuals. We select as brand ambassadors those St. Johnians who embody the unique spirit of our island and are enthusiastic about partnering with us to do some good.

How it works: We review our applicant pool and approach nominees, choosing Ambassadors who represent St. John's diversity and whom we believe can genuinely help us achieve our mission. We work closely with each one to determine personalized means of support (it could be a nominal grant or a much-needed item) and discuss how they can best promote our brand. We'd like our Ambassadors to help us develop and market new products for the people who live the St. John lifestyle--wherever they are.

If you've found your way to our website, you're probably passionate about St. John, too. So how can you make a difference as a customer? Each ambassador will receive a limited edition t-shirt designed just for them. These shirts will also be available to buy in our store, and a portion of the sales of each Ambassador shirt will enter the Made Ambassador fund. This money will be reallocated to our Ambassadors’ programs and causes. So, you can help by buying and sporting one or all of our Ambassador shirts.

Our program is neither a charity nor an established nonprofit corporation. We're simply a local company that believes in local support. We aren't in it for any tax deduction, and most of our Ambassadors aren't charities either. They do deserve some help, and we think that's way more important than any tax deduction.
