Are your products really "made in St. John"?
At Made in St. John, we design and screen print our motifs locally. Our silk screen printing press is located in the basement of Mongoose Junction shopping center, just steps away from our store. The dryer that sets the ink after printing was hand built.
We print onto apparel and accessories that are manufactured in facilities in the USA or South and Central America, depending on the vendor. We are committed to sourcing premium, high-quality apparel from companies with proven track records in ethical and sustainable manufacturing. Where are you located?
You'll find the Made in St. John shop in Mongoose Junction shopping Center in Cruz Bay. We're directly below the St. John Brewers' Tap Room and next to the Deli Grotto.
What are your store hours?
We're open every day of the year except December 25. During high season (approx. November-May), our hours are 10am-9pm
daily. Our off-season hours are 10am-7pm Monday-Saturday and 10am-6pm Sunday.
What type of ink do you use?
We use a water-based ink that sets permanently when heated.
How do your sizes run?
Our women's tees and tanks generally run one size small, so we encourage our customers to size up. Likewise, for shirts made of 100% cotton, we advise ordering one size larger to allow for shrinkage when machine drying. Our men's tees run true to size, but some have an oversize fit that's a bit wider. Please refer to individual product pages for specific sizing information.

Do you print special orders?
We screen print periodically to replenish stock. If we're out of your size in your item, e-mail us with the product name and requested size. We'll promptly return your message and let you know when the item will likely be back in stock.

What is the Made in St. John Ambassador Program and how can I get involved?
The Made in St. John Island Ambassador Program is our effort to make a difference in the community. There are many deserving local individuals and groups who could benefit from some funding or materials; we seek out those who want to be featured and assist them in making a difference.
